A final chance to have your say on the future of the hospital

The Hampshire Together engagement programme has been set up to encourage everyone to have their say on the modernisation of health and care services in the county.

To give residents across the borough a final chance to contribute to the programme, Hampshire Together will be running virtual sessions today (28 July) and Thursday 6 August. For more information on these events and to book your place, visit www.hampshiretogether.nhs.uk/events.

Chapel Hill reopened

The temporary road closure put in place by Hampshire County Council in Chapel Hill Road in Basingstoke, to allow more space for social distancing by those walking and cycling, is being removed it was not supported by local people and was not working effectively. It was due to have been removed by the end of last week.

July Council meeting

In line with the government’s revised legislation, the council will be holding its July meeting online at 1930 on Monday 27 July. We’ll be using Microsoft Teams: just click on this link to join. See the detailed instructions for full information.

Download the agenda and supporting papers here.

As it can be difficult to organise online meetings for lots of people, it would help to know how many members of the public might be joining. If you intend to join, please could you email the Clerk beforehand?
